The Good, Bad, and Ugly
Jiro, a robot with a conscience, is suddenly born into a new world with little guidance. His creator's lab exploded before he was fully awaken. He is hunted down by animal-shaped robots, which are being commanded by an evil Dr. Gil. His creator's daughter, Mitsuko, calls him a mad machine and sends him into a depression. Is he truly evil or misunderstood?
This is a relatively new anime (2000-2001) but the characters are hideous. Also, the animation leaves a lot to be desired. I actually laughed during a fighting scene because it was just dumb.
I first started watching bits and pieces of this series on television as it aired on Adult Swim. I finally watched the 13 episode series a couple days ago and I am disappointed. However, I will more than likely watch the OVAs to find out how this couple turns out.
